Diary Entries from Ukraine by Vladimir Arsenijević at the Book Fair

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 26, starting at 2:00 PM at the Belgrade International Book Fair in the “Borislav Pekić” Hall (Hall 4), a selection from Vladimir Arsenijević’s diary entries will be presented, capturing moments from three of KROKODIL’s humanitarian missions aimed at supporting Ukraine’s most vulnerable populations. These missions were carried out in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Arsenijević’s entries offer testimony to the harrowing and tragic atmosphere of war that Ukrainians have endured since the onset of Russian aggression.

The program will be hosted by Marija Vuković Biserko, while Branislav Trifunović will read excerpts from the diaries. These readings will be accompanied by photographs taken during these missions in some of the war’s hardest-hit areas, such as Kharkiv region, Donetsk, and Kherson.

Join us to show support for the Ukrainian people’s righteous struggle for freedom against a vastly superior invader, a fight that has continued for nearly three years with no end in sight.
