31 May CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SIXTH GENERATION OF KROKODIL JOURNALISTS FOR A DAY
If you’re between 18 and 30 years old, whether you’re a writer, journalist, blogger, student, or simply someone who loves to read and write, and you want to be a part of one of the biggest literary festivals in the region, the KROKODIL festival happening from June 21st to 23rd, then send us your application by Sunday, June 9th to office@krokodil.rs. Your application should include a short biography and a motivational letter. If you’ve participated in the program in previous years and want to apply again, feel free to send us your application!
Ten selected KROKODIL Journalists for a day will attend a free journalism school from June 10th to 14th, led by professionals from leading media houses in Serbia/media partners of the festival such as LiceUlice, NOVA, Radar, City magazine, Danas, Tampon Zona, and others. After the school, KROKODIL journalists for a day will have the opportunity to go through supervised practice in preparing high-quality media content (written reports, investigative stories, thematic articles, written interviews, video interviews, podcast conversations, etc.) and thus cover all festival programs as journalists. If your desire is to interview some of the biggest names in the world of culture at the KROKODIL Festival: Arnon Grunberg, Marko Tomaš, Filip Grujić, Nađa Petrović, Feđa Štukan, and others, then this is your chance!
Don’t forget that this year, journalists for a day will once again compete for a three-month paid internship at the KROKODIL Association. At the end of the program, each journalist gives one vote to a colleague they believe has been the most dedicated to work, to the group, showed the strongest will and desire to work, and also produced the highest quality content, was the best team player, etc.
Journalist for a day is already an established and popular KROKODIL platform that has produced five generations of young journalists, as well as more than 100 published interviews, reports, and investigative stories from 2019 to the present day.
