We are pleased to announce that Milena Berić, Managing Director of the KROKODIL Association, has been elected as a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy. This remarkable achievement was in recognition of Milena’s unwavering dedication to fostering meaningful dialogue in the field of international policy, particularly in relation to the Western Balkans and its civil society.
Milena’s membership was officially recognized on November 18th at a ceremony in Venice Beach, Los Angeles. This accolade not only highlights Milena’s personal professional journey but also underscores KROKODIL’s commitment to engaging with global issues and advocating for the development of democratic culture, civic activism, and the promotion of basic human rights and freedoms in the Western Balkan region.
Founded in 1995, the Pacific Council has been at the forefront of foreign affairs discourse on the West Coast, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the University of Southern California. The Council’s mission to enhance U.S. foreign policy through meaningful exchanges and expert convenings has cultivated a diverse network of leaders from various sectors, including diplomacy, industry, media, politics, and academia.
